Oh Mayor Daley, I know someone out there believes the words that come out of your mouth, but it's definitely not me.
Daley Seeks to Reassure Taxpayers on Olympic Plans:
But Daley stressed he’s not expecting losses. He said the Summer Games haven’t lost money in the United States since 1972 and that Chicago 2016 expects to the games will generate $20 billion in new economic activity.So, the Olympics are going to generate $20 billion in new economic activity?! And Daley doesn't take the City Council or the taxpayers for granted?! And he has no idea where we got that impression?! WTF is this guy smoking?

You know what Dictator Dick, I hope YOU stop.
Stop awarding contracts to your friends and family.
Stop the tax increment financing.
Stop selling our assets.
Stop the Olympics.
Stop the lies.
But you won't. So I won't either. I won't stop thinking that you are the biggest crook in the entire state of Illinois.
I loved the city for 60 of my 62 years. ( 2 yrs in military). I had to get out because of this guy, the corruption and the county board. I no longer could pay the property tax, sales tax and the bottled water tax. I decided to leave when the bottled water tax started.
ReplyDeletePeople , move on, spend the money on yourself, your children, whomever. Do not spend it on the Crook County Board and I would not even contemplate what the Olympics are going to cost you city dwellers.
